You've worked hard.
You've sweated, cried and bled over your work, sending it out into the Universe. You love that piece of work.
And nothing happens.
Maybe you've sent it to a dozen agents and editors, hoping that someone on that list connects with your work.
Maybe you've made some really gorgeous jewelry, and it's just sitting on a shelf now, collecting dust, even though you've done your market research, you're promoting your pants off and all the listings are active.
Maybe you have a stack of knitted caps that look really awesome, but people just keep walking by your booth at the craft shows without sparing you a second glance.
You pack up your things at the end of the day, and drag yourself home, disappointed and wondering if maybe you should keep doing this. Maybe it's all for nothing, and you're wasting your time.
But you keep showing up. You keep writing. You keep working with those beads and that yarn and those paints.
And one day, someone happens across your creations, and falls utterly in love with your work.
You've held to it. You've kept on. Because you love your creations. And the Universe sees that. It knows and it wants to reward you.
So keep showing up, faithful, creative, loving genius. Keep writing, knitting, beading... Keep creating. Keep showing up and sending your work out into the world where others can find it.
