Wolfsong — falling forward
It's NaNoWriMo season, and that means I'm somewhere in the thick of drafting another novel. This post was meant to have been done back in October before drafting began, but as you now know, life blew up on me, as it is wont to do, and set me behind schedule.
I'm most grateful for here and now, and all the challenges I'm pushing myself through with the knowledge that I'll come out the other side a better person. Failure isn't an option. Lessons will be learned. Goals will have to be reevaluated, I'm sure. Compromise is a last resort. I'm ready, right now, to push myself to reach for the next level, and I want you to join me for the journey.
What is something about someone else that you're grateful for?
If you've been reading my blog for a while, you know I brag on Hubby. A LOT. And with good reason. He may not be everyone's cup of tea, but he is the world to me.
Two of the walls are done in a deep indigo blue. The other two walls are done in a pinkish-tan that keeps it feeling open in here. My old green file cabinet has been repainted to match the walls with the drawer fronts covered in a crackly-sparkly overcoat that screams
Heck, I'm getting choked up just pasting the image into my blog post as I write this.
This... This was huge for me.
It even tops getting an email that said that this blog had been nominated for a "most inspirational" award (which, by the way, was HUGE).
