Gratitude - Inspiration

Gratitude - Inspiration

It's NaNoWriMo season, and that means I'm somewhere in the thick of drafting another novel. This post was meant to have been done back in October before drafting began, but as you now know, life blew up on me, as it is wont to do, and set me behind schedule.

Goals versus Intentions - Set Yourself up to Win

Goals versus Intentions - Set Yourself up to Win

You've mapped out where you want to be, and how you want to get there. You've even incentivized your goal with a map of rewards for meeting milestones along the way. And now... My dear reader... You're going to take that map and absorb it into every cell of your body and take deliberate action on your goals, through intentions.

Goodbye, 2017 - Bring It On, 2018

Goodbye, 2017 - Bring It On, 2018
2017 was a huge year for me. For those who've followed me this far, I send you deep, heart-felt gratitude. It's been a year of painful growth, celebration, discovery and change as I fumbled forward through the year.

Planning versus Pantsing

Planning versus Pantsing
I'm a planner in just about every area of my life, except where writing a novel is concerned. However, as I make writing more and more the center of my professional life, I definitely need a plan. My writing buddy, Allie McCormack, done a weekly Plan on her blog (clicky here to check it out!). I, on the other hand, plan things to death (literally sometimes), and with 12 novels in various stages of completion, I figured it was time to step up my game, and come up with a Plan of my own.

Seasons Change and Create Shifts

Seasons Change and Create Shifts

Spring flows into summer, which turns into autumn, which, in turn, tumbles into winter. And winter, inevitably, in its own time, cycles back to spring.

As the Earth spins, invariably changing outer seasons, so too, do we as humans grow, change, develop and flow through inner seasons. This is where I am now. Standing on the cusp of a change in seasons in my own life and career.
