I've had a gratitude practice for almost 2 years now. It's grown, changed, morphed and developed over that period. But somehow, as I work on coming back from this hiatus (that lasted longer than planned), I feel the need to share some of these thoughts with you, as encouragement to start your own practice,  if you don't have one already.

Before I get too far along, though, I'd like to thank Text My Journal, [the teacher of the Ignite Your Abundance Series], and Scale It Simple, for inspiring this particular series.

As much as possible, I'm pushing myself to look at this through the eyes of my disability. I know that sounds weird... Who's grateful for being disabled, right? Well, strange thing... I am grateful for it. For the Fibromyalgia, the blood clotting condition, the depression, the anxiety, blah, blah, blah. 

Now, haters gonna hate, right? Before you start thinking that I've gone off the deep end here -- I do not enjoy these things. In fact, I'd wave a magic wand and wish them away. If only I could. However, I can't, so... I may as well find positive outcomes for the challenges I didn't choose, and be as happy as I possibly can be while I'm going through them. When I hit rock-bottom back in 2015, I discovered that there were positive results that came out of my quitting my job because I was too sick to keep going. I've blogged about all that before.
