We Interrupt This Series...

For those who have been following my newsletter for a while, you'll know that Hubby, Daughter and I have been in the middle of buying a house and moving. For weeks.

The past 5 weeks have been both frustrating and freeing for me. The whole home loan process was equal parts invasive and humiliating as loan processors came back day after day, asking for more documents, more explanations.

We finally got the approval we needed for the home loan, and all the boxes that currently surround my space, will be shifted this week to our new house. The whole energetic process around this event in our lives will become the topic for a later blog post - but not just yet.

For those who deal with chronic pain, fatigue or illness, you know the toll that all this stress can take on a body. I've spent far too much of my time in April, trying to manage my stress, pain and fatigue. More days than I wanted were spent curled up on the couch as I tried to fight through pain, or fight through the fog that pain medication creates.

To distract myself, I pushed hard into the guts of both of our businesses, both Sage Wolfsong and Thrice Read Books, boiled down what we had until I got more and more clarity... In the middle of all the stress and stormy energy of waiting and waiting for that loan to go through, I reached a point of surrender (another topic I'll go into more depth on later).

Some of you know that I've been struggling with the "missing piece" of SWC - for two years. I've had a clear vision of what I want to see this space accomplish, but until this past weekend, I couldn't quite nail down how that could or would translate into a business that will support my family's dreams while still providing value and service to those I've been called to support and serve.

Now, I could lay out all the awesome ideas I've been brainstorming for the past couple weeks, but I won't.

Not.

Just.

Yet.

In the past, I've taken time frequently to disappear into my little "thinking cave" to plot out my next moves and what I want. This year, things have been manifesting so fast for us that I simply haven't been able to get away. Instead, it has begun to feel as though my to-do list is growing faster than I'm getting anything off the list!

Instead, I'm going to take a small break from blogging for the month of May, while we move and settle in. I'll be launching a redeveloped newsletter with some fun, exciting opt-in gifties for you later this month, while making the newsletter GDRP compliant. (For those of you scratching your head at the moment - the GDRP is a new set of personal data protection laws effective in the EU - because I have a readership in the UK and the EU, I need to make sure my newsletters and websites are compliant - even though I'm not located in either region.)

Throughout the month, I'll drop little love notes in your in-boxes. I'll continue to drop in to blog about what I'm up to, and give y'all a little peek at our new home and my new workspace.

So, while I'm taking a few weeks away from my regular blogging in May to get these things in line, I'll still be floating around in social media. If you aren't already following me on one of the platforms at the bottom of the page, feel free to hop in, follow, and say hi!

I'll be around (I'm not disappearing). Until next time, I wish you much love, light and peace.
